Allied war crimes during World War II

  • Hello,

This is a completion to Monsters in uniform thread, this info being put in another thread Because Allied war crimes were not examined terrible (except the Russian ones) to be posted on thread did, and to not have the aspect of a competition ,

It is claimed that the Allied countries did not engage in mass terror or commit genocide, in the fire bombing of civilians in Dresden, Tokyo and other German and Japanese cities and cities, plus the use of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The military of the soviet union was so often committed crimes, which are now known as the direction of its government. These crimes included warts of aggression, mass murder of prisoners of war and repressing the population of conquered countries.

Antony Beevor describes the rape of German women as the "greatest phenomenon of mass rape in history," and has concluded that 1.4 million women were raped in East Prussia, Pomerania and Silesia alone. Russian and Polish women and girls were also violated.

  • Have you heard about Biscari massacre, Rape in Esperia and in Sicily (by moroccan troops), the alliance against Germans between Mafia and Camorra and Allies for example during the Battle of Scafati and Naples, the killing and rapes of Italians by US troops, Polish drunken troops in July 1945 in Salerno attacked civilians, Italian resistance site invents false and never happened German crimes (for example in some sources they said that the victims were armed italian soldiers and in others civilians), the mass killings of Fascist Pows in 1945 in the "Triangolo rosso della morte" in Emilia or many others for example Allies killed German POWs or never stopped the Foibe massacres, the massacre of Croatians fascist and civilians at Bleiburg... we can begin now ant finish after months. In Italy near Caserta for example Germans captured were lynched by mobs or dead bodies of WH soldiers were beaten as Mussolini in Piazzale Loreto. At Naples the same. In South Tyrol (Trentino Alto Adige) a officer, one of the founders of Italian SS Legion, SS-Sturmbannführer Alois Thaler, in May 1945 he gave himself to Americans but he was later a POW of Partisans. He was beaten and then shot. His body was hung in public and then his artificial limb was brought in the near cities as a trophy. Allies covered Partisans crimes like Donato Carretta: he saved partisans like Pertini from SS tortures but then he knew much and all Partisans decided to kill him. He was accused to be a Fascist and lynched by a mob. You can read his story in "Via Rasella, cinquant' anni di menzogne". In Sicily for example US troops killed fascists and innocents and after 70 years they deny this crimes. We can speak about Dresden "Terrorangriff" or Goumiers in Latium. In Normandy many Germans were shot (prisoners!) and same thing did Russians and Maquis. Americans permitted crimes like Govoni brothers massacre and Rolando Rivi assassination. Same thing in Czechslovakia and in Juglosavia (German Regiment Bozen soldiers were luckly because they could spoke italian so they tried to escape pretending to be italians enrolled in Wehrmacht with threats, while Germans who couldn't speak Italian were shot by Partisans). Last fact because we know that it is a long list of crimes (The case of stealing japanese skulls in Guadalcanal, etc.), the case of scalping dead germans: 36th Texas Div. sergeant John Fulcher landed in Salerno on 9th September 1943. He with a patrol killed 9 Germans and then scalped them, like Indians in Far West.
